What NudgeTodo holds, why, and how to be rid of it.
What is collected
- Your email address. It is the account — the list is emailed to it, and it is how you sign in.
- Your items. What you type on your list, their due dates and notes.
- Who you share a list with. The addresses you add, so their copies can be sent.
- A phone number, only if you turn on text messages, and only after you verify it.
- A record of what was sent — subject lines and delivery status — so a missing email can be explained.
What is not
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics.
- Nothing is sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes.
- Your items are never used to train anything.
- No location, no contacts, no photos. The apps ask for calendar access only to add an event, and cannot read what is already there.
Who else sees it
Email is delivered by Mailgun and text messages by Twilio, because a message has to leave the building somehow. They handle it to deliver it, nothing more. If you share a list, the people you share it with see that list — that is the point of sharing it — and they see your name and address on the emails they receive.
Getting rid of it
Delete your account and it is gone: your items, your shares, your signed-in devices and your record of sent mail are deleted with it. There is no soft-delete and no waiting period, so please be sure.
In the app: Accounts → ⋯ → Delete account. On the web: Settings, at the bottom. Or write to jakinsman@gmail.com and it will be done for you.
